We are thrilled to welcome Alix Gerber, Assistant Director of the Design Thinking Initiative at Smith College, as our first PoP Collaboratory Facilitator! Alix is also one of the authors of the PoP Book.

To explore a pedagogy of possibility, this workshop will start with impossibility. Each participant will share a social transformation they want that feels impossible. Then, we will manifest the changes we want into reality by imagining what a successful transformation would look like, and consider where we have the power to enact them in our lives today.

Finally, we will sketch ideas about tools, processes, rituals, or inventions that could support us in implementing this change. Along the way, workshop participants will share ideas with each other. Since this workshop involves collaborative activities that build on each other, it's best if participants can attend for the full 1.5 hours. This will be a Zoom workshop using Miro, a virtual workspace. No experience with Miro is needed, we will orient you! Please join from a computer so that you can participate fully, and bring a pen, paper, and ideally a phone with a camera.
